1. I currently have a job at the university. Do I need to complete an I-9 again?

    • No, your I-9 should be on file with the university and will work for this job as well.

  2. I used to have a job at the university. Do I need to complete an I-9 again?

    • More than likely, yes. I-9’s expire and are not valid indefinitely. Please contact the I-9 processing center to verify if you have an I-9 on file.

  3. Can I present a photocopy of my I-9 documents at the I-9 processing center?

    • No! You need to provide original documents at the I-9 processing center.

  4. I have participated in the program previously and cannot attend the training this year. Can I still participate in the practice teaching session?

    • Possibly! If you have participated in the program previously you may be able to be excused from the training. Please contact us regarding this request and we will evaluate on a case by case basis.

  5. I can only attend practice teaching session #1. Will I still be able to participate in the program?

    • Yes! Practice Teaching Session #2 will only be hosted if a PhD student is unable to attend Practice Teaching Session #1. If hosted, a much smaller number of student hires will be scheduled. Please fill out the sign up form with your availability.
